About MDU: Established in 1976 as a residential University, Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak is one of the most prestigious universities in the state of Haryana. MDU has been named after the great social reformer and founder of Arya Samaj, Maharshi Dayanand University. In the year of 1978, it became a teaching-cum-affiliating university with the affiliation of several colleges of Haryana. National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC, has graded it as B++ University.
