The US Rap-And-Pop Duo Present A Clear Message To People Who Crash Parties - With A Great Video

Karmin Releases A Gripping Music Video For 'Crash Your Party'

Karmin has just released a brilliant music video for Crash Your Party. The US pop duo consists of Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan who are already famous for their song "Take It Away" (used for promotion of the 2011 NBA Finals).

The song, "Crash Your Party", describes the ego of a person who crashes parties - "who do they think they are?" Being a mixture of song types, it is a track different to the average mainstream tune. It quickly settles into a pop rhythm, then  suddenly changes into a rap before switching back to a pop chorus. But it does have a message aimed at people who crash parties.

The video is really something. In a word ... compelling! It begins with the couple sitting at a "music machine" with Nick working the dials and keyboard. Amy commences rapping "Who do you think you are a super s-t-a-r?/ Who do you think you are you can kiss my oh my god!" and as the music begins, she continues with a more pop tune. But wait for this ... as the camera moves back, the scene shows the duo as a video clip on a webpage. Further retreating by the camera finds the props falling down, and what was supposed to be a webpage was just a wall. What a surprise!

They get up, and Nick opens up a guitar case. From this point on, the video is just jam-packed with unexpected surprise after surprise!

There is so much action in this three minute video, it is worthy of a major award for creativity. Is there a Grammy Award for Most Ingenious Music Video?

The song has an appeal to lovers of rap, but it has a catchy chorus about it for pop music fans. The music video is something else!
