HBSE Secondary & Sr.Secondary Pass Criteria For Session 2010-11 & 2011-12



CRITERIA FOR QUALIFYING (2010-11)

I. SECONDARY

In order to earn the Certificate of Qualification, a candidate will have to qualify in the following five subjects of external examination separately in each semester:
  • Hindi (First Language);
  • English (Second Language);
  • Mathematics,
  • Social Science; and
  • Science and Technology.
In order to qualify in a subject, he/she will have to obtain at least 33% marks (marks in external examination + marks in CCE + marks in Practicals) provided that he/she
  • obtains at least 33% marks separately in the external examination
  • obtains at least 33% marks separately in Practicals, if any
  • there will be no minimum pass marks for CCE
(For the subject in which there is only internal assessment, grades will be shown in the certificate but there will be no minimum grade required for qualifying)

Note:
  • If a candidate qualifies in all the 6 subjects, then the best scoring 5 subjects of external examination will be counted for determining aggregate marks/Grade Point Average, i.e. the subject in which one has obtained the least marks will not be counted. In case more than one subject has the same least marks, then the subject not to be counted will be in the following order of priority: Social Science, Science & Technology, Mathematics, Hindi, English.
  • Further, if a candidate does not qualify in Hindi, but qualifies in Sanskrit as sixth subject, then Sanskrit can replace Hindi for earning the certificate of Qualification.
I. GRACE:

In both semesters separately, 1% grace (per subject appeared) will be given for qualifying (i.e. for getting 33% marks) in as many subjects as possible, and not for improving grade in each semester separately. (Other provisions that exist in the Regulations regarding Grace will remain in force as such)

II. Reappear:
  • Candidates will be placed under reappear in those subjects in which they do not qualify. However, they will be given 2 chances in the next two subsequent examinations after second semester. One extra reappear chance for first semester papers will be given along with the second semester.
  • If a candidate does not qualify in 1 or 2 subjects out of the 5 external subjects that are to be qualified compulsorily, he/she will be placed in the category of PA-R (earning the Certificate of Partial Achievement) and will be eligible to take provisional admission to the next class, i.e. class 11th. If one does not qualify in more than two of these subjects, he/she will get Reappear in all those subjects in which he/she does not qualify (getting the Certificate of Participation) and will not be eligible to take admission in the next class.
II. SENIOR SECONDARY

In order to earn the Certificate of Qualification, a candidate will have to qualify in all five subjects of external examination separately in each semester.

In order to qualify in a subject, he/she will have to obtain at least 33% marks in the aggregate of external examination, CCE & Practicals provided that he/she
  • obtains at least 33% marks separately in the external examination
  • obtains at least 33% marks separately in Practicals, if any
  • there will be no minimum pass marks for CCE
  • (For subjects in which there is only internal assessment, grades will be shown in the certificate but there will be no minimum grade required for qualifying)
Note:
  • If one has opted for an Additional subject, and he/she qualifies in it, then it can replace one of the main optional subjects (excluding Hindi and/or English depending on the stream), if one does not qualify in any one of them (the main optional subjects).
  • In case one qualifies in all 6 subjects (including additional subject), then the marks obtained in the best scoring 4/5 subjects (excluding the compulsory subjects, i.e. Hindi and/or English depending on the stream) will be counted for determining GPA/Aggregate marks, i.e. the main optional subject in which one has obtained the least marks will be replaced by the Additional subject.

  • Pay: Rs. 14830+DA+HRA+Medical Allowance
  • Age Limit - Not above 40 years
  • Educational Qualifications:
(a) For Dance :
1. Ist class (at least 60% marks) in Graduation in Dance. OR Graduation (atleast 60% marks) with diploma in Dance.
2. Preferably B.Ed from a recognized University with 55% marks in the relevant teaching subject.
3. Fluency in spoken English.
4. Teaching Experience of 3 years and above from Government/ Recognized/ Progressive Public School.
5. Conversant in IT skills and effective use of new technologies as tools for learning..
(b) Physical Education Teacher
1. Graduate with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
2. D.P.Ed./B.P.Ed. with at least 55% marks from a recognized University.
3. Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects.
4. Fluency in spoken English.
5. Qualifying in Teacher’s Eligibility Test of any State is compulsory in Physical Education.
6. Teaching Experience of 3 years and above from Government/ Recognized/Progressive Public School.
7. Conversant in IT skills and effective use of new technologies as tools for learning.

3. Primary Teachers:
· No of Posts: 06 Post+01 Post for Art & Clay [SC=03, BCA=01, BCB=01, ESM GEN=01, ESM BCA=01]
· Pay Rs. 13500+DA+HRA+Medical Allowance
· Age Limit: Not above 35 years
· Educational Qualifications:
1. 10+2 with at least 55% marks and two years D.Ed course from the institution recognized by the Government.
2. Qualifying in Teacher’s Eligibility Test of any State is compulsory.
3. Fluency in spoken English.
4. Teaching Experience of 1 year and above from govt. recognized/ progressive public school.
5. Enthusiastic & Passionate for teaching and learning individual would be preferred.
6. Conversant in IT skills and effective use of new technologies as tools for learning.

Note: For Primary Teacher (Art & Clay), Preference will be given to those candidates who possess Degree/Diploma in the relevant subjects of Art & Clay.

Applications not in the prescribed format /Proforma shall be rejected. Ø Salary: - The post will be filled up on contractual basis on consolidated emoluments Rs. 18000/- (consolidated salary) per month for those having B.Ed. HTET 2011 Result Was Less Than 20%, Women Overtook Men Candidates

The maximum pass percentage in the Haryana State Teachers Eligibility Test conducted by the state Board of School Education, the result of which was declared today, is 19.86. That too in one category only. The pass percentage of the two other categories is less than 16.

A spokesman for the board said here today that the result could be seen at the board's website: hbse.nic.in. The result was also available on bseh.gov.in, educationgateway.co.in, indiaresults.com and schools9.com. The result could also be obtained by dialing helpline number 01664-254000 between 7 am and 7 pm on December 3.

He said out of 1,66,393 candidates, who appeared in Category I (teachers for Class I to V), 33052 had been declared as successful. The pass percentage in this category was 19.86. Similarly, 1,57,624 candidates appeared in Category II (teachers for Classes VI to VIII), out of which 24,766 passed. The pass percentage in this category was 15.71. Out of a total of 88,626 candidates in Category III (lecturers), 13, 299 cleared the examination and the pass percentage in this category was 15.01.
